Nail Trim Desensitization
Gradual training for calm nail trims
Service Description
Systematic desensitization training for dogs who range from mildly uncomfortable to aggressive during nail trims. Through gradual, positive conditioning, we help your dog overcome their fear and develop a calm, cooperative response to nail care. Program Structure: Initial session: 1 hour to assess your dog's current comfort level and begin the desensitization process Follow-up sessions: 15-30 minutes each, tailored to your dog's progress Recommended frequency: Once weekly until your dog is comfortable with nail trims Timeline: Training duration varies based on your dog's individual fear level and response to the process. Some dogs progress quickly while others need more gradual conditioning. This systematic approach transforms nail trim time from a stressful battle into a calm, manageable routine for both you and your dog.
