Service Description
Our Beginner’s Group Training Class is an engaging 8-week program designed to build a strong foundation of good manners and essential skills for your dog. Through positive reinforcement techniques, we help you and your pet develop clear communication and lasting habits that create a confident, well-behaved companion both at home and in public.
Upcoming Sessions
SERVICES & REGISTRATION Group classes teach foundational skills and enrichment in a supportive group setting. Payment is due prior to the first class via cash, check, credit card, Venmo, Zelle, or Cash App. No multi-pet discounts or travel fees apply to group classes. PRE-CLASS EVALUATION All dogs must complete a trainer consultation or evaluation before attending their first group class. This ensures the dog’s suitability and safety in a group environment. Dogs not suited for group classes may be recommended for private training. ATTENDANCE & NO-CANCELLATION POLICY Group class fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Clients cannot cancel classes. If a client does not attend a scheduled session, they will be sent class activity worksheets and are responsible for catching up independently to stay on track. HEALTH & VACCINATION REQUIREMENTS Required vaccinations: Rabies, DHPP, Bordetella, and Leptospirosis. Additionally, dogs must have a recent fecal exam (within 12 months) or proof of monthly heartworm prevention. Dogs must be healthy and free from contagious illness. Clients must disclose any medical or behavioral concerns prior to class. BEHAVIOR & SAFETY POLICY Dogs must be well-socialized and must not exhibit aggressive or reactive behavior toward people or other dogs. Aggression or severe reactivity is unsafe and unfair to all participants. Dogs showing unsafe behavior may be removed from class without refund. The trainer may recommend private training when appropriate. EQUIPMENT Clients must provide a standard 6-foot leash and a flat collar or harness. Retractable leashes, prong collars, and shock/electronic collars are prohibited. Front-clip or no-pull harnesses are recommended for dogs that pull. The trainer reserves the right to refuse participation if equipment is unsafe or inappropriate. WEATHER POLICY Classes may be modified or canceled due to severe weather such as ice storms, blizzards, extreme heat, or unsafe conditions. Weather cancellations will be rescheduled when possible. LIABILITY Clients assume all risks associated with participation in group classes. The trainer is not responsible for pre-existing conditions or injuries resulting from normal class activities. Professional liability insurance is maintained by the trainer. COMMUNICATION Clients must provide accurate contact and emergency information. Class updates and communications will be sent via email or text. Response times are within 24 hours for texts and 4
